REHABILITATION
Ankle
support and up to 80% less impact
Currently being studied and used at the Allan
McGavin Sports Medicine Centre, University of British Columbia, for
their exceptional and unique rehabilitation qualities.
Rehabilitation times for some injuries may be
reduced as a result of introducing low impact exercise with active
therapy.
Because KJ's reduce impact by up to 80%, depending
on technique, they can provide an athlete with just enough loading to
encourage healing, and shorten the rehabilitation cycle. KJ's can be
introduced somewhere between aqua-jogging/swimming, and return to full
weight bearing drills.
Your sports medicine physiotherapist and trainer
can prescribe stretch therapy and rest, along with Kangoo Jumps, to
reduce your recovery time, while maintaining balance, muscle control,
and proprioception.
