To whom it may concern:
I am a physical therapist by trade and a runner for
the exercise and fun of it. I have been running distance for about 15
years and finished my first marathon in Napa Valley, California in
February of 1997. In November of 1997, I was out running and
experienced an excruciating pain in my left "hip", I at first thought I
had pulled a hip flexor muscle but after treating it for several weeks
without success, I underwent a bone scan which indicated that I had
actually experienced a stress fracture in my femur.
I was on crutches for about 6 weeks and had been
unable to run since November until I stopped by the Isosports booth at
the Motorola Marathon in Austin, TX in February of 1998 and tried a
pair of Kangoo Jumps, I was sold inmediately after taking off at a jog
wearing The Kangoo Jumps and experiencing no pain in my leg. I could
tell right away I was working hard in the Jumps, but had no pain in my
hip while wearing them. I bought a pair and continue to rehabilitate
from my stress fracture in the Kangoo Jumps.
I am so sold on their effectiveness to offer a
strenuous workout without the compressive forces on ones joints and
also to allow one to return to running, walking, or aerobics while
rehabbing from an injury, that I have become a distributor in Kentucky
for the Isosports company who has the rights to the Kangoo Jump
products in the United States.
It is my opinion that the Kangoo Jumps we safe and
effective as a rehabilitation tool in some lower extremity injuries and
they are fun to wear. Kangoo Jumps are not for everyone, but have great
potential for many individuals with or without injuries.
